Getting to Clark House

Clark House is conveniently located on Clark Street, St. Augustine, Florida 32084, just minutes from Historic Downtown St. Augustine and with easy access to the beaches, local attractions, airports, concerts, and championship golf.

From Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)

Approximate drive: 55–65 minutes

Jacksonville International Airport is approximately 50–55 miles north of St. Augustine. From the airport, follow signs toward I-95 South and continue toward St. Augustine. A simple route is to take Exit 318 for State Road 16 East, continue toward St. Augustine, then take US-1 South. Turn right onto Clark Street, and Clark House will be on the left.

Travel time varies with Jacksonville and I-95 traffic. Regional tourism information places JAX roughly 50 minutes north of St. Augustine, while other current routing estimates are approximately one hour.

From Northeast Florida Regional Airport / St. Augustine Airport (UST)

Approximate drive: 10–15 minutes

Northeast Florida Regional Airport is located at 4900 US-1 North and is the closest airport to Clark House.

Exit the airport and travel south on US-1 toward Historic St. Augustine. Continue through the city and turn right onto Clark Street. Clark House will be on the left.

The airport primarily serves private, charter, corporate, and general aviation traffic and is only a few minutes from downtown St. Augustine.

From Historic Downtown St. Augustine

Approximate drive: 5 minutes

Clark House is only a short drive from St. Augustine's Historic District, including St. George Street, Flagler College, the Plaza de la Constitución, Castillo de San Marcos, restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Historic St. George Street is one of the central pedestrian corridors of the district.

From the central Historic District, travel west toward US-1, using King Street when appropriate. Head south on US-1, then turn right onto Clark Street. The house will be on your left.

During festivals, holidays, Nights of Lights, and other high-traffic periods, downtown streets and traffic patterns may be temporarily adjusted.

From the St. Augustine Amphitheatre

Approximate drive: 10 minutes

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, locally known as The Amp, is located at 1340C A1A South on Anastasia Island.

Travel north on A1A toward Historic St. Augustine and cross the Bridge of Lions into downtown. Continue west toward US-1, travel south on US-1, then turn right onto Clark Street.

For major concerts, allow extra time because traffic around The Amp and the Bridge of Lions can be considerably heavier before and after events. The Amphitheatre also uses event-specific parking and shuttle arrangements.

From St. Augustine Beach

Approximate drive: 10–15 minutes

From the St. Augustine Beach Pier / St. Johns County Ocean Pier, travel north on A1A Beach Boulevard/A1A toward Historic St. Augustine. Continue toward downtown and cross the Bridge of Lions. Head west toward US-1, travel south on US-1, and turn right onto Clark Street.

The St. Augustine Beach Pier area is located at 350 A1A Beach Boulevard and provides a convenient reference point for guests traveling between Clark House and St. Augustine Beach.

From TPC Sawgrass & THE PLAYERS Championship

Approximate drive: 35–45 minutes in normal traffic

TPC Sawgrass, home of THE PLAYERS Championship, is located at 110 Championship Way in Ponte Vedra Beach. The drive between St. Augustine and TPC Sawgrass is approximately 24–25 miles and typically takes around 35 minutes outside major-event traffic.

For normal visits to TPC Sawgrass, travel south from Ponte Vedra Beach toward St. Augustine and follow your navigation system toward US-1 South. Once in St. Augustine, continue to Clark Street and turn west; Clark House will be on your left.

During THE PLAYERS Championship, do not navigate directly to the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse unless your parking credentials specifically instruct you to do so. Tournament parking is assigned separately, and on-site parking passes must be obtained in advance. Follow the parking location and transportation instructions issued with your tournament pass.

A Helpful Arrival Tip

St. Augustine is compact, but traffic can increase significantly around Historic Downtown, the Bridge of Lions, St. Augustine Amphitheatre, Nights of Lights, THE PLAYERS Championship, and major holiday weekends. Check live navigation shortly before departing so you receive the best route for current traffic and any temporary road closures.
